Guidecraft Educator GIVEAWAY ~ Three Sets of Blocks
I am so excited to be hosting this awesome giveaway just in time for Christmas!
This giveaway is for three different sets of beautifully-colored wooden blocks:
The blocks come in a variety of shapes and colors. They can be used together as they are all about the same size. We often divide toys into "girl toys" and "boy toys," but classic building blocks are perfect for boys and girls! Blocks are great for preschool classroom use and home use. Playing with these Guidecraft blocks allows your children to explore their creativity while working on critical fine motor skills. Children can create different patterns. They could collaborate to build a structure together or play independently. Block play also allows children to incorporate lots of other toys. Blocks can be a farm for small animal figures, a castle for princess dolls, or a fort for soldiers. Young children begin to understand cause and effect relationships as they build different structures and knock them down. All three sets of blocks are durable and can easily be stored in a large lidded container for easy clean up.
Lydia loves to build structures and knock them down!
Lydia built a house.
She added different people & animals.
She loved knocking that one down...
...and starting all over!
But Lydia's favorite thing to do is use the rainbow blocks
as colored glasses!
BUY IT! You can purchase your own set of Guidecraft Blocks for your home or classroom. Guidecraft also sells mirrored blocks and shimmering water blocks.
WIN IT! What's great about this Guidecraft Educator group is that each month, one of us will be hosting the giveaway of a product that we have all reviewed. I am hosting the giveaway this month. Just look at how you can quickly enter below! (This contest is open to the US and Canada.)
* I received the aforementioned product for free to review. The opinions expressed are honest and provided without monetary compensation.
I would give it to my daughter that has a slight development delay she could use it on our light table to give her more stimulation! Stimulation is the "in" word in our family right now :O)
I would give these blocks to my 16 month old son. He is just starting to play with the few blocks that he has and these would be an excellent addition!
I would give these to my son to share with his four other cousins. They will love them. Thank you for the chance to win these fantastic blocks. Carmen Van Deursen eve2570@msn.com
Ohh I would gift them to my 3 kiddos... We have looked and seen these many times however not really in the budget! kevinkaylaarrowood123 at yahoo dot com
I teach Pre-K and have 22 students (4-5 year olds). I've wanted these blocks for a while now, but we have so many "required" materials that the budget doesn't cover that there is simply not enough funding for "extras". These would be such a wonderful addition to my class. I know the kids would really enjoy exploring with them!
I would rotate these through the centers in my Head Start classroom. I think they would be amazing for teaching basic concepts like shapes and colors, but also for teaching about properties of matter for more advanced students. How neat to have blocks that are filled with different materials, to let the kids observe and experiement with how particles move. A great way to kick off a study of avalanches!
The Pre-K classroom that I did my student teach at had a small set of these. The children loved them and the teacher was able to incorporate them in to many activities.
I would give these to my 2.5 year old daughter. They would go great with our unit blocks, and I'm sure our next baby (due in a few weeks) will get many years of enjoyment out of them as well.
I would add them to the science center we plan to use in teaching preschool teachers at the university where I work. We are collecting items from many sources so that we can demonstrate hands-on learning. :)
I would use these in my classroom! I used to have the rainbow blocks at a toddler program I worked for and they were a huge hit! I think they'd go over GREAT in Pre-K! I'd share them with my students - and probably play a bit myself!
Amazing blocks! A Classic toy with a twist for any age. My daughter`s kindergarten really needs toys like this to keep them on their toes. They are full of creative ideas and lots of energy. I see these as The IT Toy of the year. Would love to win these.
I would give these to my 2 year old son. They would be a great way to keep him busy while big brother does his homeschool lessons....though I'm sure big brother would love to play too! They would be a very versatile toy for both boys.
I would give these blocks to my two year old son! I've noticed them on Amazon and have always wanted these for him but can't afford them. He has mild sensory issues and is a very visual and can't get enough of making noise/shaking things. Can't even tell you how perfect these would be! Thanks for such a great giveaway!
I would give these to my preschool kiddos - they LOVE any kind of building blocks and these would match perfectly with our light table :) I would probably also bring them home on weekends to let my own four children (ages 2-8) play with!!
Hi! I would give these awesome blocks to my little guys! My 2 year-old ASD little guy LOVES to build! Think he is going to be a future architect!!! Thanks for the chance to win this for my boys for Christmas! :D
My preschool son Noah and 1 yr old daughter Mimi would love these colorful blocks. Their daddy is an architect and I am sure he can think up many other ways to build things with his two babies. Merry Christmas everyone.
We would use these along with other wooden blocks in our block center at preschool. Of course they wouldn't always stay in the block center...I can see them making their way onto our window sill for the sun to shine through. :D
My son is 18 months and I'll be keeping him home and doing preschool with him here. I'm a former elementary teacher (ten years under my belt) and once he's too old for these, I'd take them and use them in my classroom when I go back to teaching!! They'll get a lot of use!!!
I would have them at my house for when my almost 1yro nephew comes over and for my son who loves to build to use and also as I want to start doing daycare again would have them for that! weaverjungle@yahoo.com
